Foundation Power Reference starts with the same workshop rigour as our Standard, then changes every element where it matters most. The conductor itself moves from oxygen-free copper to Supra LoRad 2.5 SPC — silver-plated copper, the same proven Swedish shielded geometry as the Standard but with the skin-effect characteristics silver brings to the table. The plug stays Supra, because it's already excellent. Everything between the cable and the equipment gets the Furutech treatment.

What's in it

• Supra LoRad 2.5 SPC CS silver-plated copper mains cable — identical shielding and safety rating to Standard, with a silver-plated conductor surface that changes the high-frequency conduction profile. Swedish-made, 16A-rated, integral RF/EMI shielding.
• Supra BS 1363 UK plug — the same solid, low-resistance plug as Standard, with user-selectable fuse (3A / 5A / 10A, defaulting to 10A).
• Furutech FI-11 (Cu) C13 IEC as standard — unplated pure copper contacts, the connector of choice for listeners who want conductor purity over plating. Furutech C15 equivalent available on request.
• Conductors terminated at the IEC using Furutech FP-209-10(G) gold-plated 4mm internal spades, crimped with silver ferrules and silver-soldered with Mundorf Supreme Silver/Gold for a precise, low-resistance connection at every contact point.
• TechFlex Carbon braided outer sleeve.
• All connections treated with DeoxIT Gold contact enhancer — reduces contact resistance and protects against oxidation over the life of the cable.
• Maximum continuous current: 10A — limited by the IEC connector rating. Suitable for source components, integrated amplifiers, streamers, DACs, and most domestic audio equipment up to ~2.3kW.
• Every cable PAT-tested and logged under a unique serial number. Your QA record stays on file at IsoPress Audio indefinitely.
